Imported contacts will merge with current contacts in your database. Imported records will be matched with your current contacts by Tax Code (ABN) or Reference. If matching record will be found, it will be updated with the imported data. Not matched records will be saved as new records.

  1. On the left-side menu, click on Payers/Employers. New form (CN01) will open.
  2. Click on ‘Import from Excel’. New form (CN08) will open.
  3. Click on ‘Open’ – select file you wish to import.
  4. If you have already saved a schema, you can load it in now.
  5. Assign column values to columns – using drop-down lists in headers of each column.
  6. You can save the schema for future use.
  7. Click on Import

Required items:

  1. Reference or ABN (Tax Code) – for all
  2. Contact/Company Name – for non-individuals
  3. First name – for individuals
  4. Last name – for individuals

Available fields:

  • Reference (must be unique, records are matched with current records using Reference)
  • Tax Code (must be unique, records are matched with current records using Tax Code)
  • Contact Type – must be written up, possible items:
    • Customer
    • Supplier
    • Other
  • Contact/Company Name
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Other name (e.g. middle name)
  • Legal form
    • Individual
    • Partnership
    • Company
    • SuperFund
    • Trust
    • Other
  • Salut – salutation, e.g. Mr Jones – will be used in correspondence
  • Is Male – use M or F – for individuals only
  • Main e-mail
  • Other e-mail
  • Main phone
  • Other phone
  • Address 1
  • Address 2
  • Suburb
  • Region – State, Canton etc.
  • PostCode
  • Country
